Moscenicka
Draga is a place in Primorsko-goranska županija, the name comes from Moscenice,
a small city from the middle age that lies above it. The citizens of Moscenice
and the places around it have inhabited Moscenicka Draga because of the fishing.
Moscenicka
draga is well known for the nice pebble beaches and the various hiking routes,
especially visited is the beach Sipar, a few hundred meters long. The position
of this fishing village enabled the development of agritourism and holiday homes
on the slopes of the mountain Ucka, with beautiful view of the sea and the
islands of the Kvarner bay. The first visitors came from Opatija in the 19th
century.
The guests
can walk on the romantic promenade “lungomare” that leads to the beach Sv. Ivan
and enjoy the view on the villas above the Adriatic from there.
The
crystal-clear sea, the untouched Nature and the traditional cuisine, especially
to mention the Kvarner Scampi as a pearl of this region, will make every guest visit
this place again.
