The global development of the Coronavirus pandemic has led to many countries, including Croatia, being forced to impose entry restrictions for nationals of countries affected by Coronavirus, including Germany, Austria, Italy, Slovenia, the Netherlands, UK and many others. This extraordinary situation has led to the fact that many of our guests are unable to use their reserved house or apartment, and we would like to inform you that we are at your disposal for any information and uncertainties for which you can contact us by e-mail at info@istria-home .com, or by phone at +385 52 495 928.
Below are some of the most frequently asked questions:
1.) I have booked a holiday home or apartment, but I cannot use it due to entry restrictions to the Republic of Croatia. What are my options in this case?
For all reservations with arrival date before and on June the 14th 2020 we offer a free rebooking of the reservation in the same house, or an other house from our offer at a later date in 2020, or in 2021.
For all bookings with arrival after June the 14th 2020 the cancellation policy from our General Terms and Conditions apply.
Please note that the rebooking must be made at least 29 days before the original arrival.
The above conditions will be adjusted to the development of the situation with the Coronavirus pandemic.
2.) Can I book another house or apartment?
To all our guests who have booked the property through ISTRIA HOME with arrival date before and on June the 14th 2020, we offer the option of rebooking your reservation for a later date in 2020 or 2021 free of charge. If the booked object is already occupied in the second desired date, we offer you to book another object from the Istria home's offer. In case the new property is more expensive than the originally booked one, the price difference is to be covered by the guest. In case the new property is cheaper than the reserved one, the amount of the payment balance will be adjusted to the new, lower price.
In case the amount paid for the original reservation is higher than the amount of the new reservation, the guest has the right to use the unused amount for another reservation.
3.) Can I get a refund?
Refunds depend on the reserved period of stay and current restrictions on entry to the Republic of Croatia from individual countries. Please be sure to take into account the offered free of charge rebooking of your reservation for a later date in 2020 or 2021.
